Mix of Skills

One person can't build a business process.

At Quixa we're a team with all the necessary skills to take your application from idea to execution.

Business Architecture Team:

The business architecture team help you and us make sure you're following best practice and can assist in all areas of the methodology. We use a panel of BPM-knowledgeable industry experts who bring their specific consulting experience to each project.

Analysts:

Who are in overall charge of the project. We don't change lead analyst halfway through the project, and the analysts that work with you on the needs analysis and project discovery will also produce the detailed business process design. Our analysts are experienced IT professionals who also handle any system integration issues.

Project Managers:

Who build all the necessary components of a project plan following a formal industry methodology (PRINCE 2). It's the job of the project manager to ensure the business process development methodology is followed and the project is delivered on time and on budget.

Database Architects:

Who design any external databases required and analyse relational integrity with linked and third-party systems.

Developers:

Who write both the business process itself and custom code interfaces to external applications. Our developers write structured, optimised and documented code that you can build on after the project.

User Interface (graphic) Designers:

Who make sure that all the screens a user sees are intuitive and navigable. A user interface isn't a collection of labels, form controls and text entry boxes, it's a holistic experience designed to present the necessary information to the user and to facilitate accurate data entry.

Authors:

Who write help screens and documentation in a way that's understandable to the end user.

Infrastructure Analysts:

Who work with your IT team to build and optimise the Ultimus servers and integrate it within your technology platform and security environment. They can also help and advise on remote access to the business process via public web sites, extranets or secure virtual private networks.

Missing from this list is...

Quality Assurance:

We don't have one person in the organisation with this job title - everyone is responsible for quality control all the way through the development. Then, at the conclusion of each phase defined in the methodology one member of the team takes quality sign-off responsibility.
